What our cover includes
  • No claims discount of up to 20%
  • Accidental damage, fire, theft, flood and loss cover as standard
  • Three levels of cover: private premises, country of residence, and worldwide
  • Hire costs covered following a claim, up to £3,000 or 20% of your sum insured
  • Cover whilst in transit by car, air or freight (refer to Policy Wording for terms)
  • Short-term cover included for instruments that you do not own, but that you are legally liable for, for up to 60 days and up to £50,000 sum insured
  • Cover for your accessories, cases, leads, pedals, amps etc
  • Unlimited professional use
  • Unlimited worldwide cover
  • No time restrictions on travel
  • Loss of value following a claim
  • Optional £2m or £5m Public Liability for musicians

Optional cover against theft from an unattended vehicle; earthquake outside of the UK; or climate conditions.

We hope that you will never need to make a claim on your musical instrument insurance policy, however accidents happen and so, if you find yourself in this position, we promise to make it as efficient and personal as possible with our in-house claims team. This also means we can get involved more easily with your claim if needed.

In the unfortunate event that you need to make a claim, it can be stressful to cover any additional costs, such as travel or valuations. In recognition of this, our musical instrument insurance policy now covers the reasonable and necessary additional costs associated with the settlement of your claim.

We understand that for some, the choice of repairer is an important factor when their beloved instrument has been damaged.

Cover for your musical instrument if it’s borrowed or leased from a collector, dealer or patron

We know that not all musicians own their instruments. Those in this position will need peace of mind which is why we evolved our musical instrument insurance policy to support them.

Temporary cover, free of charge, for instruments and accessories that you do not own but are legally liable for

If you have an annual musical instrument insurance policy with us we can provide temporary cover, free of charge, for instruments and accessories that you do not own, but that you are legally liable for, for up to 60 days and up to £50,000 (or currency equivalent) sum insured.
